At Mackenzie's Equestrian Centre we offer quality riding
lessons - using only approved and qualified instructors, all covered
by appropriate insurance. We offer a full range of lessons, from
those for the complete beginner to master classes for the advanced
competitive rider.
Beginners - we run regular weekly group lessons
for beginners, both adult and children, at times to suit. We can
supply all you need including a suitable pony or horse, all tack
and hat if necessary. We do, however, encourage people to purchase
their own clothing and hat. These lessons are a great way to learn
to ride without the expense of having to purchase a pony, and
all the associated costs of ownership, and offer you a chance
to meet new people with similar interests. We also offer private
lessons.
Improving - Looking to advance those skills,
get into the ribbons at competitions and generally improve your
riding? We have the answer. We run a range of both private and
group sessions using our own qualified and experienced instructors
as well as occasional workshops run by visiting professionals.
With the benefit of our indoor facilities these courses run all
year round and offer our clients the chance to access great levels
of experience right on their doorstep and at sensible cost.
Advanced - Competing at the top national or even international levels. Our vast experience in Show Jumping, supported by great success including many wins at international level with yard horses and ponies all over Europe, qualifies us to help you get to the very top and to stay there. Generally at this level all lessons are private or are part of group master classes run by visiting professionals.
All our group lessons are graded according to each individual rider's ability. Group lessons are limited in numbers so that clients get the most benefit. Children and adults can be catered for separately, and family groups are welcome.
We take great pride in the quality of lessons we deliver whether to the new comer or the international rider. All are treated with the same enthusiasm and professionalism. Our facilities ensure we can operate in comfort all year round using the indoor schools during inclement weather and outdoor arenas when possible.
Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are always on hand to help
advise on the most suitable lessons for each individual. Clients
are welcome to bring their own horses and ponies to all lessons.
We also can provide facilities and instructors for your group,
whether it be Pony Club, Riding Club or other riding organisation.
- We can also run a group beginner lesson as a birthday party
with a difference.
